Is the wallet profiler really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no email, no rate limit on common queries. The consumer-facing profiler is free forever as a public good, funded by the rest of the RAPIT platform. Higher-throughput API access for teams is planned as a separate paid product — it won't gate the free tool.
What data sources do you use?
Public Ethereum chain data only — transaction history, ERC-721/ERC-1155 transfers, contract events, and ENS records, sourced through Etherscan and direct node access. Every signal in a profile is traceable back to an on-chain transaction hash, so nothing is unverifiable.
Which chains and wallets are supported?
Ethereum mainnet first. Any public 0x address works — EOAs, multisigs, contracts, hot wallets, cold wallets. ENS names resolve automatically (paste vitalik.eth and it resolves to the underlying address). Layer 2 and additional chain support is on the roadmap.
How is the wallet score computed?
The score is a weighted heuristic across holding period, realized PnL consistency, portfolio concentration, liquidity profile, and behavioural patterns like accumulation vs distribution. It's a triage tool, not gospel — every component is shown alongside the score so you can decide which signals to weight for your own use case.
How does it compare to OpenSea Pro or Nansen?
OpenSea Pro is a trading frontend; Nansen is an enterprise analytics suite with wallet labelling. RAPIT's profiler sits between them: deeper than a marketplace dashboard, lighter and free compared to enterprise tools. It's purpose-built for fast individual-wallet reads, not portfolio-wide analytics or trade execution.
How fresh is the data?
Profiles reflect chain state within a small lag — typically seconds to a couple of minutes behind the tip of the chain depending on indexer load. For very recent transactions you may see a brief gap; re-running the profile usually closes it.
Do you log or store the addresses I look up?
No queries are tied to your identity, IP, or session in any persistent way. We process the lookup and return the result without building a graph of who looked up whom. There is no profile of you, because we never created one.
Can I use the profiler programmatically for monitoring?
The web profiler is for interactive use. A paid API for teams running scheduled monitoring across many wallets is on the roadmap — it's the commercial layer that lets us keep the free consumer profiler free. Reach out via the contact page if you want early access.
